THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay Regional Hospital hosted an open house this past week, to create an accessibility plan with the help of members of the community.
On Thursday, members of the public were invited to the open house to have their say on what goes into the plan.
The previous plan focused around maintaining accessibility legislation but now they're trying to focus more on the needs of patients and family members.
Currently, they are using a survey to gather all of data required and are still in the early planning stages.
Senior Director of Communications Tracie Smith said it's extremely important to include the opinion of the public when it comes to designing this plan.
For those who were not able to attend the open house, you can complete an online version of the survey until June 17 which is available on the hospital's website.
