THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is celebrating contributions from their donors.
Over the last year, a number of machines and equipment have been added to the hospital thanks to those donations. On Tuesday a new campaign was launched called "The Missing Piece."
Seeing where your money goes, and the difference it makes on the community that was the message interim CEO Dr.William McCready had for donors at a breakfast Tuesday morning.
Chair of the Health Sciences Foundation Tracey Nieckarz said the community of Thunder Bay plays a vital role in ensuring the continued advancement of the hospital, which is why the Missing Piece campaign was launched. It's the donors who are the missing pieces, that make it all happen.
The campaign will last for the next eight weeks. The public will see images at the hospital during that period depicting how the community has helped with the advancement of the sciences centre.
