Hotel guests hit with bear spray in room

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who entered a hotel room filled with people and fired off a canister of bear spray. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at the Shoreline Motor Hotel on Cumberland Street.

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who entered a hotel room filled with people and fired off a canister of bear spray.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning at the Shoreline Motor Hotel on Cumberland Street. Five adults, including four men and a woman, were in the room at the time.

The suspect, who police did not describe, had his face covered and fled the scene on foot.

There were no serious injuries to report.

Anyone with information on the incident are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
