THUNDER BAY – The Fort William Rotary House Lottery sold out last year during a pandemic and they’re going to try to do it again in 2021.

For now they’ll have to stick to online only ticket sales, as tours of the $642,047 Bishop Court home not allowed under the Grey-Lockdown rules of Ontario’s COVID-19 colour-coded framework.

The home comes complete with kitchen appliances, and as an added bonus, a finished basement.

Fort William Rotary Club said they’ve also added an additional $10,000 in cash prizes, bringing the early-bird draw total to $16,000.

Only 16,000 tickets will be sold.

Tickets are $100 a piece or three for $250, and they're available at www.fwrotaryhouselottery.ca. Last year's draw raised more than $440,000 for 22 local charities and it's raised more than $6 million over the past 34 years. A pre-sale is on now and the officially launch is expected to take place next week.

The draw will be held on Monday, Oct. 11 at the home.

The house, built by Lormar Construction, is located at 205 Bishop Court.
