Human remains identified as Eddie Tremblay

Police have not determined the cause of death of the 35-year-old victim, who was last seen on July 7, 2019.

THUNDER BAY – Ontario Provincial Police have identified human remains found on May 13 in the Wasp Road area as missing 35-year-old Thunder Bay man Eddie Tremblay.

Police say Tremblay’s body was located by a forest area worker.

Tremblay was last seen on July 7, 2019 and was the subject of an extensive search by OPP, the Lakehead Search and Rescue Unit and Thunder Bay Police Service.

The cause of death has not been determined and will be subject to a coroner’s investigation.
