Hydro rates will rise next month for hydro customers in Ontario.
Provincial hydro customers, including customers in Thunder Bay, will receive the notice of the increase on their November bill.
The Ontario Energy board has set an increase of three per cent to the average monthly household bill, which to most customers will mean and extra $4.
The OEB says the increase is based on a number of factors, including a higher price for natural gas.
The changes take effect on Nov. 1, when peak hours move to breakfast and supper hours.
