OPP News Release
(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On November 18, 2015 at 12:04 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complainant on a motor vehicle on Highway 621 in the Morson area.
Officers located the motor vehicle on Highway 621. The driver, a 36-year-old Morson woman, failed the roadside test and was arrested and transported to OPP Detachment for breath tests.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory seven days. The driver was subsequently charged with:
- Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of Blood
- Driving without a licence
She will appear in Rainy River Provincial Court on January 27, 2016.
