FORT FRANCES, Ont. – A Wednesday afternoon traffic complaint resulted in an impaired driving charge for a 53-year-old woman from Watten Township.
OPP officers received a report of a traffic complaint Wednesday afternoon on Kings Highway 11 in Dawson Township.
Officers located the vehicle and during the investigation, the driver failed the roadside test and was arrested and transported to the OPP detachment for breath tests.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days and the driver was charged.
She will appear in court on July 4 to answer to the charge.
