Inflation rate rises slightly in February: StatsCan

New numbers from Statistics Canada shows the inflation rate for the Thunder Bay area was at 0.9 per cent in February.

That’s a slight increase from the 0.3 per cent recorded in January.

But the regional  inflation rate was still lower than the provincial and national averages, which sat at 1.2 per cent.

Along with Edmonton, Thunder Bay has the second lowest inflation rate among Canadian cities.
