THUNDER BAY -- There's $25,000 up for grabs in the annual Intercity Shopping Centre 50/50 Cash Draw.
The 17th edition of the lottery was launched on Wednesday at the mall, where it was announced half of the proceeds collected ill be donated tot he Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
To date the lottery has raised $162,335.
“From Nov. 2 until Dec. 22. or until tickets are sold out, whichever comes sooner, tickets will be available at Intercity Shopping Centre and the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation office at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre,” said hospital spokeswoman Heather Vita in a release.
Last year tickets sold out by mid December and organizers are encouraging people to buy tickets right away.
Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and may not be purchased by, or on behalf of persons under the age of 18.
“This year’s Intercity Shopping Centre 50/50 Cash Draw will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win,” Vita said.
