Many TBayTel customers were without Internet Friday.
TBayTel confirmed that an unstable fibre optic connection resulted in a loss of service for several hours.
The affected areas include d the north downtown core, Johsn Street, Grandview, Current River, Lakeshore Drive and most areas east of the city.
As of Friday afternoon, TBayTel technicians were still trying to resolve the problem.
