KENORA, Ont. – A Kenora resident is now facing weapons charges following an investigation by police.
Kenora Community Street Crime Unit and the Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau have charged a Kenora man with weapons related charges stemming from an investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm, two counts careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device for ammunition, two counts of possession for the purpose of weapons trafficking and two counts of failure to comply with a release order – other than to attend court.
The accused was held for bail and appeared in court on Feb. 19.
