The agency that regulates the investment industry in Canada has scheduled a discipline hearing for a local woman accused of misappropriating funds from her clients.
Pirkko Ann Ramsay worked with CIBC Investor Services in Thunder Bay.
It is alleged that in 2009 and 2010, Ramsay borrowed funds from two clients without her employer's knowledge or consent, misappropriated funds from two clients, and failed to co-operate with regulatory investigators in 2012.
The allegations have yet to be proven.
The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada has scheduled a two-day hearing to take place in Toronto on May 21 and May 24.
