THUNDER BAY -- The cause of a fire at a local Chinese restaurant will have to remain a mystery.
The blaze at Jade Express, on the corner of Court and Bay Streets, shut down traffic in all directions Tuesday afternoon.
The fire gutted the back room of the restaurant, and fire crews were forced to remove a portion of the wall and roof to get at the source of ignition.
At this time, fire officials believe the blaze may have started on the outside of the building.
But they've been unable to confirm the source, so the cause of the fire will remain classified as undetermined.
