City police are looking for the man who robbed a south side convenience store early Friday morning.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the Mac’s store on 1500 James Street South was the scene of the robbery. A man entered the store just before 2:30 a.m. and demanded money from the store clerk.
The robber then ran off with what police describe as a small amount of cash, and cigarettes.
Police say no witnesses saw a weapon during the robbery, and no injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
Police are looking for a man they describe as being six-feet tall, with an average build. The suspect wore a white jacket with red on the shoulders.
The suspect’s face was covered with what appeared to be a black cloth.
