James Street Mac’s robbed early Friday morning

City police are looking for the man who robbed a south side convenience store early Friday morning. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the Mac’s store on 1500 James Street South was the scene of the robbery.

City police are looking for the man who robbed a south side convenience store early Friday morning.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the Mac’s store on 1500 James Street South was the scene of the robbery. A man entered the store just before 2:30 a.m. and demanded money from the store clerk.

The robber then ran off with what police describe as a small amount of cash, and cigarettes.

Police say no witnesses saw a weapon during the robbery, and no injuries have been reported as  a result of this incident.

Police are looking for a man they describe as being six-feet tall, with an average build. The suspect wore a white jacket with red on the shoulders.

The suspect’s face was covered with what appeared to be a black cloth.
