It's now five and counting for Ray Lalonde.

Lalonde, a former Thunder Bay resident and Hillcrest High School graduate, captured his fifth consecutive victory on Jeopardy during the episode that aired Wednesday night.

Contestants who win at least four games are eligible to compete in the show's Tournament of Champions. The most recent edition of the tournament had a grand prize of $250,000.

Through his five games, Lalonde has won just over $132,000.

Lalonde will compete again with the next episode airing Thursday night.
