Joyriding vandal causes $15K damage to city golf course

Thunder Bay Police are investigating another incident in which a vehicle has caused extensive damage to a city owned golf course. Police say sometime over the weekend, a car was driven onto Chapples Golf Course and two greens were torn up.

Police say sometime over the weekend, a car was driven onto Chapples Golf Course and two greens were torn up.  

Damage is estimated to be nearly $15,000. 

Police are looking for a Honda car with a missing black rocker panel that may have been involved.  

Last spring, Strathcona Golf Course suffered similar damages when someone took a joyride with an all-terrain vehicle.
