Kakabeka Falls woman charged after collision near Mine Centre

FORT FRANCES, ON — Ontario Provincial Police have charged a resident of Kakabeka Falls after a collision Tuesday evening on Highway 11.

OPP were called to investigate a collision near the community of Mine Centre, 70 kilometres east of Fort Frances.

The investigating officer spoke with the driver and observed signs of impairment.

Two breath tests then confirmed she was over the legal limit of alcohol.

The 54-year-old woman was charged with impaired driving and released from custody pending a court apperance in Fort Frances in June.
