A Kakabeka Falls woman is enjoying an early Christmas present, courtesy of a winning lottery ticket.
Monique Dixon was in Toronto this week to pick up a cheque for $250,000, the second grand prize in the Ontario Lottery and Gamming Corporation’s White Diamond Instant Lottery.
The 36-year-old mother of three says it’s the biggest win of her life.
She plans to use the windfall to pay some bills, put away money for her children's education and for some home renovations.
Dixon purchased the ticket in Hearst.
