THUNDER BAY – Kasper Transportation will suspend all operations as of Saturday, citing vastly reduced ridership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company, which has provided bus service to Northwestern Ontario since 2015, filling a gap left when Greyhound decided to shutter its service in the region offered daily rides from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg.

Kasper Transportation also suspended it's twice-daily Owen Sound to Guelph service.

The company does not say how long the service will be on hiatus.
