THUNDER BAY -- The City reminds residents not to place garbage and recycling bags or cans on snowbanks.
Waste on snowbanks poses dangers to both residents and waste collection crews. Crews are not permitted to climb snowbanks to retrieve items.
Place garbage and recycling bags or cans at the end of the driveway, a metre from the road, where they will be visible to the crews.
