The jury in the Michael Kelly murder trial saw another police video of the accused Tuesday at the Superior Court of Justice.
Judie Thibault, 57, went missing in November of 2000, and in the weeks following her disappearance city police conducted several interviews.
Kelly, her common law spouse at the time of her disappearance, was interviewed on camera soon afterwards. He was then called back to the police station the following month.
The jury watched the tape of the first interview Monday, and on Tuesday the second video was shown to the court.
Police say Kelly became a person of interest based on his statements.
During the the following weeks, police say Kelly became a suspect in Thibault's disappearance.
But despite the accused being a suspect at the time, the case still went unsolved.
Four years later, Thibault's body was found in the Dorion area, prompting the case to be re-opened.
Police located Kelly in Wawa and told him Thibault's remains had been found, and Kelly thanked the officers.
The trial will continue Wednesday, with testimony about the sting operation by the OPP where Kelly allegedly told officers information they say only the killer could have known.
