Kenora break and enter leads to charges

Police make an arrest in an early morning break and enter in Kenora.

KENORA, Ont. – A Kenora resident faces break and enter charges after OPP receive complaint early Friday morning.

Kenora Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint of a break and enter in progress on Friday around 6:20 a.m. at a business located on the south side of Kenora.

Police and Northwest Canine Unit arrived on scene to learn the suspect had forced entry into the building.

Upon further investigation, it was determined the suspect stole cash and electronics.

Police arrested the accused a short time later for break and enter.

The property was later recovered.

The accused, a 31-year-old Kenora resident will attend court to answer to the charge.
