Kenora crash victim identified

Police say 38-year-old Katherine Pidgursky was killed in three-vehicle collision at the junction of Highway 17 and Highway 596.

KENORA – A 38-year-old woman from Buchanan, Sask. has been identified as the victim of a fatal three-vehicle Highway 17 collision.

OPP on Wednesday said Katherine Pidgursky was killed in the crash, which took place on Monday at the junction with Highway 596.

The victim was the lone occupant of the passenger vehicle involved in the collision, which also included a transport truck and a pick-up truck.

Police are looking for witnesses and anyone who might have information about the tragic incident is asked for phone OPP at 807-548-5534 or 1-888-310-1122.
