Kenora OPP responded to 130 calls for service over the weekend

KENORA — Kenora Ontario Provincial Police responded to 130 calls over the weekend.

According to an OPP news release, some of the calls police responded to included seven ambulance assists, five attempts or threats of suicide, two drug offences, two fires, one impaired offence, seven liquor licence acts, six traffic complaints, two domestic disputes, eight police assistance, three police information, three thefts, five missing person, two mental health acts, seven R.I.D.E. checks, nine unwanted person and three warrants.

In total, police laid 18 charges under the criminal code, the controlled drugs and substances act and the highway traffic act from March 5 to March 8.
