Kenora OPP responded to more than 150 calls for service over the weekend

Police laid multiple charges from March 12 to 15.

KENORA — Kenora Ontario Provincial responded to 156 calls for service over the weekend.

From March 12 to 15, police responded to a variety of calls including three ambulance assists, three attempts or threats of suicide, one drug offence, one fire, one impaired offence, six liquor licence acts, six traffic complaints, three domestic disputes, 14 police assistance, 17 police information, two threats, five missing person calls, five mischief, six mental health calls, four R.I.D.E. checks, 14 unwanted persons and two warrants.

In total, Kenora police laid 16 charges under the criminal code, the controlled drugs and substances act and the highway traffic act, according to a news release issued on Monday.
