(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a female following a RIDE program on Highway 71, Nestor Falls.

On Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 p.m, police were conducting a RIDE program and upon speaking to the driver, it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and arrested her at the scene. She was transported to detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with Drive with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

She is to appear in Kenora court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charge.
