The Kenora-Rainy River NDP selected the person they want to carry the party banner in October’s provincial election.

Sarah Campbell won the party’s nomination over Robert Sinding following a series of travelling ballots across the riding.

Campbell hopes to hold the seat following the decision to retire by long-time MPP and former party leader Howard Hampton.

Campbell will be opposed by Liberal candidate Anthony Leek, Green Party nominee Jo Jo Holiday and either Lou Rosin or Rod MacKay for the Progressive Conservative Party.
