Knife wielding man holds up fast food restaurant

Local police officials say they are investigating a south-side armed robbery. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers are investigating the robbery that took place around 10:30 p.m. at a Subway restaurant on 595 W. Arthur St.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers are investigating the robbery that took place around 10:30 p.m. at a Subway restaurant on 595 W. Arthur St.

Police say a man armed with a knife entered the restaurant and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled the scene. 

There were no injuries reported as a result of the robbery.

Police are now looking for a Caucasian man standing about six-feet-one-inch tall with a skinny build. Police say the suspect wore a white and black checkered hoodie, blue jeans and white boots at the time of the robbery.
