THUNDER BAY -- A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a hotel employee after being refused entry.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to a Dawson Road hotel on Thursday night after receiving a 911 call from hotel staff, police said in a Friday morning news release.
The accused had entered the lobby but was refused entry by the 40-year-old male employee. The suspect returned and was again refused entry, this time pulling a knife in a threatening manner and making his way into the hotel.
Officers arrived within minutes, police said.
The suspect was found at the rear of the hotel and was arrested for assault with a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court later this morning.
