Labour ministry investigates jobsite injury

A roofing company worker was injured in a fall.

THUNDER BAY — The Ontario labour ministry is investigating an incident that left an employee of a Thunder Bay roofing company injured.

A worker for Triad Contracting was hurt after falling off a roof.

A ministry spokesperson did not disclose the date or circumstances of the incident, but said the ministry was informed about the case on Dec. 3.

The company has received two orders and 10 requirements it must comply with.

The ministry did not release details of either the orders or the requirements, but the investigation is ongoing.
