THUNDER BAY -- Lakehead University has cancelled all on-campus classes in Thunder Bay on Wednesday.

The school, in a release, advised students to check with their instructors to determine in remote alternatives will be made available.

All campus services and offices do remain open, but the school cautions all members of its community to exercise caution on potentially hazardous roads and self-assess before coming to campus or choosing a work-from-home option, if possible.

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine University is also closed on Wednesday.
