THUNDER BAY -- A section of Lakeshore Drive is closed after a vehicle knocked a utility tower across the roadway.
Emergency services responded to the Tuesday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Shuniah. A pickup truck is seen at the base of the tower, which toppled across the road.
Shuniah Fire officials on scene said the driver did not appear to be seriously injured.
A HydroOne truck crew was on scene alongside Ontario Provincial Police, and the Shuniah Fire Department.
Lakeshore Drive is closed between MacKenzie Heights Road and Crystal Beach Road.
