THUNDER BAY -- As Thunder Bay digs out from yet another snow storm, a day shy of the middle of April, at least one local homeowner awoke to some unpleasant news.
Heavy snow snapped a large limb off a tree overhanging a Lyle Street driveway, sending it crashing down onto a vehicle parked below.
City forestry workers quickly arrived at the scene to remove the branch and assess the damage.
Heavy snow has also caused sporadic power outages in various areas of the city on Thursday morning.
