Police are looking for a suspected home intruder who spooked a north-side resident Wednesday morning.
Police say the resident, who lives in the 200 block of Maple Avenue, was startled by the intruder around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The homeowner walked into his house after being outside gardening when he discovered the man inside his home.
The suspect fled the house and police say there were no injuries reported or items stolen.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-to-late 20s, standing about 5-10 with a slim build. He had light-coloured short hair and wore a light-coloured baseball cap and light clothing at the time of the incident.
Police are advising residents to keep their doors locked when the home is unattended even if you are nearby.
