THUNDER BAY -- A long-serving lawyer facing charges of sexual assault is slated to be back in court Jan. 20.
Alexander (Sandy) Zaitzeff appeared via video Friday afternoon for what was scheduled to be a bail phase hearing at the Thunder Bay courthouse.
Zaitzeff faces several counts, including two counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching under 16 and a host of other charges.
He appeared in court Dec. 17 where four new counts of sexual assault were added to the list of charges.
Zaitzeff remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court via video on Jan. 20.
None of the charges he faces have been proven in court.
