Legal representatives for both sides in a human rights complaint against the city’s police force were expected to meet Monday.
The complaint against the Thunder Bay Police Service stems from an incident in September, following the accidental release of an internal police email that jokingly remarked on a homicide investigation.
The complaint was filed by the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation.
If an agreement isn't reached, this complaint could head to a full hearing by the Human Rights Tribunal.
