Thunder Bay residents will have the opportunity to learn leadership skills from the region's best this May.
Plans were announced Tuesday for a new annual speaker series sponsored by the "Leadership Thunder Bay" organization. The new event will give Thunder Bay guest speakers the opportunity to share with city residents their personal experiences in becoming leaders in their fields. This year’s speaker will discuss the differences of each generation currently in the workforce, and how those differences can be used to achieve greater success. Organization lifetime member and city councillor Rebecca Johnson said it’s important to get speakers who have lived in Thunder Bay or are current residents to present so they can better relate to the audience.
The first luncheon speaker series will be held on May 6.
