Don’t miss out! The special leaf and yard organic waste collection takes place between November 3 and 13 this year. Check your Waste Collection Calendar for the pick-up date on your street.
Effective this fall, only leaf and yard waste stored in kraft (paper) bags will be accepted for curbside collection. Leaf and yard waste stored in plastic bags will not be picked up. Kraft bags are available at most hardware and grocery stores.
Bags must not weigh more than 40 lbs or 18 kg. Sticks and branches must be bundled with string or rope, and are subject to the same weight restrictions as bags.
Bundles must be shorter than one metre (39 inches) in length, and less than 61 centimetres (24 inches) in diameter.
