To the editor:
I am writing to share why I am proud and excited to be voting for Iain Angus for Mayor. Angus has substantial and valuable experience for the job as Mayor. He is the only candidate who has served as an MP in Ottawa, MPP at Queen’s Park, and many years as a Thunder Bay City Councillor. We need that experience and wisdom in dealing with all levels of government and other players to successfully move our City forward.
Angus is a proven consensus builder and leader, who works cooperatively with everyone to build needed change. He also has the right goal of growing our City: working with business and workers to improve the economy to bring jobs; investing in the infrastructure and services we need to grow, prosper and leave no one behind; encouraging refugees and other migrants to bring skills and youth; working actively to fight crime and combat the racism that scars our City.
I ask you to join me in electing Angus for Mayor. He will bring his experience to bear to bring the change we need.
