LHINs providing area hospitals with infrastructure cash

The province’s Local Health Integration Network is providing money to 13 hospitals in the region for infrastructure upgrades. A total of $3.
The province’s Local Health Integration Network is providing money to 13 hospitals in the region for infrastructure upgrades.

A total of $3.6-million is being provided, including $353,000 for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and $420,000 for the new Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout.

About $200,000 will go to hospitals in towns like Atikokan, Dryden, Geraldton and Nipigon.
