THUNDER BAY — Seniors in the city will have another drop-in activity option through the library.

Thunder Bay Public Library has teamed up with Age Friendly Thunder Bay for a new event series at the Mary JL Black and Waverley locations.

Beginning on May 8, seniors 50 and older can drop in for Seniors' Coffee Chats twice a month.

The event will rotate between the two locations, starting at the southside location from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 8, and then again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Waverley Library on May 22.

Attendees will enjoy light refreshments during each session and can participate in crafts and other activities, as well as learn about community resources.

Registration is not necessary for these events.
