Amy Jones has been shortlisted for the 2017 Leacock Medal for her debut novel, We’re All In This Together.
Published in June 2016, We’re All In This Together tells the story of a woman going over Kakabeka Falls in a barrel, which becomes a viral video and creates complications for members of the Parker family.
Set in Thunder Bay, the novel has appeared on several bestseller lists and won the 2016 Northern Lit Award.
Also shortlisted for the 2017 Leacock Medal is Gary Barwin for his novel Yiddish for Pirates and Drew Hayden Taylor’s short story collection, Take Us to Your Chief.
