Inflation was down in the Thunder Bay area as the Christmas shopping season began.
Statistics Canada figures put the rate for November at 2.6 per cent for this area, which is down from the three per cent recorded in October.
That also keeps this area under the national average for last month, which was 2.9 per cent.
The Thunder Bay area’s inflation for November is also the fourth lowest recorded in Canada.
