THUNDER BAY -- A local man faces additional charges in connection with a series of alleged historic sexual assaults.
Officials with the OPP have confirmed that Gary Lamont, 52, was arrested Thursday on nine new charges.
The new charges include forcible confinement, three sexual assaults, sexual exploitation, and assault with a weapon.
Three new victims have come forward, two men and one woman.
The incidents reportedly occurred between 1996 and 2013, at Warnica Lake.
Lamont will appear in court on the May 20.
None of the new charges against Lamont have been tested in court.
