Local man facing multitude of child pornography, luring charges

THUNDER BAY – A 32-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with child luring and other child pornography-related offences.

Police, in a release issued on Tuesday, said they received information that a local internet user was suspected of uploading child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

A search warrant was executed at a local residence and after seizing several electronic devices for examination, it was discovered the accused had allegedly been communicating and exchanging sexually explicit material with an underage person in the United States.

The accused turned himself into police on Tuesday and he was later released with conditions and a future court appearance date.

Cody Mitchell Locke has been charged with two counts of luring, making explicit material available to a child, indecent exposure, three counts of making child pornography, possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
