Longlac break and enter leads to drug charges

LONGLAC, Ont. – Provincial police have arrested a 28-year-old woman with drug-related charges Tuesday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to a report of a residential break and enter on Kenogami Road in Longlac, Ont.

Police arrived at the scene and detained four people found within the residence.

One of these parties was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and items believed to be marijuana, MDMA and what appeared to be a debt list.

Follow the initial investigation, Greenstone OPP obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence which yielded an additional 139 tablets of methamphetamine, one tablet of morphine and an additional drug debt list.

As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old Longlac woman was arrested and charged.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7 to answer to the charges.
