Longlac resident celebrates $50,000 win

TORONTO – A Longlac resident is $50,000 richer after winning top prize with OLG’s Instant Quest for Gold Crossword.

Veronica Chapais, 53, said she is an occasional lottery player, and she was drawn to this ticket because of the photo of the athlete on the ticket.

“I played my ticket at home and asked my son to check it using the OLG Lottery app,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

“I almost fell over in disbelief!”

Veronica plans to purchase her son a truck and spoil her animals.

“I am on Cloud 9 – it’s unbelievable.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Y.N.T Variety on York Street in Longlac.
