LONGLAC, ON. -- Good fortune has translated into a small fortune for one Longlac woman.

Vanessa Sirois is now $100,000 wealthier courtesy of a winning ticket in the Instant Ontario Lottery Gold draw.

Sirois had been playing the lottery for 20 years.

“At first I thought I had won $100, but then I saw more zeroes and couldn’t believe it,” Sirois said in a press release.

Instant Ontario Lottery Gold is available for five dollars per ticket, with $100,000 as the top prize. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 400.
