THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is warning of possible COVID-19 exposure on several recent flights from Toronto.

Passengers on seven flights into the Thunder Bay International Airport between Dec. 28 and Jan. 7 could have been exposed to the virus, according to health unit data posted Sunday.

The agency had advised earlier this week of COVID-19 exposure on two Air Canada flights that arrived on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. On Sunday, it advised of potential exposure on several other recent Toronto-Thunder Bay flights.

Individuals seated in the rows noted on the flights below could have been exposed, according to the health unit:

Dec. 28: AC 7936 (Rows 12 to 18)

Jan. 1: AC 7932 (Rows 13 to 19)

Jan. 2: AC 392 (Rows 14 to 20)

Jan. 4: WS 3219 (Rows 16 to 20)

Jan. 5: WS 3415 (Rows 7 to 13)

Jan. 5: WS 3123 (Rows 7 to 13)

Jan. 7: AC 7936 (Rows 18 to 24)

Please see the health unit's website for the most up-to-date information on exposures.

The risk level for all of the listed flights was considered low, the health unit said Sunday.

"Overall the risk of someone being infected would be low," it said. "However, we are asking individuals affected to monitor themselves carefully for symptoms, immediately self-isolate if they have even one symptom, and to call the TBDHU at (807) 625-5900 or call your local assessment center to arrange for testing."
